When Samir urgently called HDK about replacing the roof on his rental property, we learned it shared an internal gutter with his neighbour. This presented the perfect opportunity to upgrade the insulation and meet healthy home standards.

We began by installing scaffolding at waist height around the perimeter of the property to ensure safety and accessibility.
Then, we stripped the roof of all old iron back to the bare frame, allowing us to assess the woodwork and detect any serious damage from leaks (fortunately, there was none).
Next, we installed insulation and lined the bottom of the internal gutter to prevent any condensation from the aluminium coming into contact with the framework.
With the preparation complete, we installed the new iron and flashings.
Finally, we completed the project by installing the ridge cap, ensuring a secure and pristine finish.
